About This Role
Join our administrative team and play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our Scarborough - Birchmount Place location.
You will be the first point of contact for families and visitors, providing excellent customer service while managing various administrative tasks.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic early childhood education environment while developing valuable administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet families and visitors, providing information and assistance
- Process enrollment applications and maintain family records
- Handle phone calls and respond to email inquiries
- Schedule tours and appointments for families and staff
- Maintain accurate databases and filing systems
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment processing
- Support special events and family communication initiatives
- Provide general administrative support to center management
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency with computer software and databases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field
- Experience in childcare or education settings
- Bilingual capabilities
- Experience with specialized software systems
- Additional certifications in office administration
