Frequently Asked Questions

Our centers are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We're closed on statutory holidays and during professional development days (with advance notice).

We welcome children from 6 weeks to school age (12 years). Our programs are specifically designed for different developmental stages including infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age groups.

Yes! All meals and snacks are prepared fresh daily in our kitchen. We accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies with individualized meal plans.

Our ratios exceed provincial requirements: 1:3 for infants, 1:5 for toddlers, 1:8 for preschoolers, and 1:15 for school-age children.

All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR. We have comprehensive emergency procedures and maintain direct communication with local emergency services and parents.

Parents are always welcome! We encourage involvement in your child's day. Please check in at the office and follow our visitor protocols for everyone's safety.

Children with symptoms of illness must stay home. We follow strict health policies and will contact parents if a child becomes unwell during the day.

We use multiple channels including daily reports, parent portal app, newsletters, and regular parent-teacher conferences to keep you informed about your child's progress.

Health & Safety

Illness Policy

Children must stay home if they have:

  • Fever of 38°C (100.4°F) or higher
  • Vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours
  • Contagious illness (pink eye, strep throat, etc.)
  • Severe cold symptoms or persistent cough

Return Policy: Children may return 24 hours after symptoms have completely resolved without medication.

Medication Administration

  • Written authorization required from parent and physician
  • Medication must be in original container with child's name
  • Only designated staff trained in medication administration
  • All doses documented and tracked

Emergency Procedures

  • All staff certified in First Aid and CPR
  • Emergency contacts called immediately for serious incidents
  • Written incident reports provided to parents
  • Regular emergency drills conducted monthly

Attendance & Pickup

Late Pickup Policy

Pickup Times: All children must be picked up by 6:00 PM

Late Pickup Fees:

  • $1.00 per minute for first 15 minutes
  • $2.00 per minute after 15 minutes
  • Fees charged to account automatically

Emergency Late Pickup: Call center immediately if running late. After 6:30 PM, emergency contact will be called.

Authorized Pickup

  • Only authorized individuals may pick up children
  • Photo ID required for verification
  • Written permission needed for new pickup persons
  • Verbal permission accepted only in emergencies

Attendance Requirements

  • Call or email by 9:00 AM for absences
  • 24-hour notice preferred for planned absences
  • Vacation time requires 2-week advance notice
  • Extended absences may affect enrollment
