Human Resources Assistant
About This Role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our growing team across all CFEL locations.
You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and various HR administrative functions.
This role provides excellent exposure to all aspects of human resources in a dynamic early childhood education environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment processes including job postings and candidate screening
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
- Support employee relations and conflict resolution
- Coordinate professional development and training programs
- Prepare HR reports and analyze employment data
- Ensure compliance with employment standards and regulations
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Understanding of employment standards and HR best practices
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- CHRP or other HR professional designation
- Experience in recruitment and selection processes
- Knowledge of childcare sector employment practices
- Training and development coordination experience
- Payroll and benefits administration experience
