Maintenance & Custodial Coordinator

About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance & Custodial Coordinator to ensure our facilities provide safe, clean, and inspiring learning environments.
You will be responsible for routine maintenance, deep cleaning, and facility improvements across multiple CFEL locations.
This role is essential to creating the high-quality physical environments that support our educational programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple centers
- Conduct deep cleaning and sanitization of classrooms and common areas
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ensure playground equipment is safe and well-maintained
- Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly
- Implement safety protocols and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience in facilities maintenance and custodial work
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Understanding of safety regulations in childcare environments
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and lift equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade certifications in relevant areas (plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Experience in childcare or educational facility maintenance
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Basic carpentry and painting skills
- First Aid/CPR certification
