Program Coordinator
About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at our Mississauga - Lori Gardens location.
In this leadership role, you will oversee daily program operations, support staff development, and ensure high-quality programming that meets the needs of children and families.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in early childhood education, and a passion for supporting both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily program operations and ensure quality standards
- Coordinate with families regarding program information and children's progress
- Support and mentor educators in program planning and implementation
- Manage enrollment processes and maintain program documentation
- Facilitate communication between families, staff, and administration
- Assist with budget planning and resource allocation
- Lead team meetings and professional development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and CFEL policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Early Childhood Education or related field)
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience in childcare or education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles
- Computer proficiency and experience with databases
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Administration
- ECE certification or equivalent
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
- Bilingual capabilities
- Previous supervisory experience
